The isopods are sold in groups of 10. Cubaris murina "Glacier" is a particularly attractive color morph of Cubaris murina, characterized by its slightly yellowish to completely white coloration. With its high-contrast carapace and calm behavior, this form is one of the most popular Cubaris variants in the hobby.

These animals are from our own breeding stock. These isopods originally come from Florida. When purchased, the isopods are shipped in mixed age and size stages to ensure an optimal start for a successful breeding colony.

The isopods feed on various forest materials such as decaying wood and leaf litter. Additionally, supplemental foods such as calcium (e.g., limestone or cuttlebone) and proteins should be offered as part of a balanced diet. They also enjoy various vegetables. Vegetables from the onion family (garlic, leeks, onions) should be avoided, as well as iceberg lettuce.

A well-ventilated terrarium with both humid and drier areas supports successful keeping and breeding. Waterlogging should be avoided.
