The isopods are sold in groups of 10. Cubaris sp. "Panda King Orange/Red" is a rare and particularly striking color variant of Cubaris sp. Panda King, characterized by an orange to reddish shimmering pigmentation in combination with the typical black and white pattern. Like the standard form, it has a compact, heavily armored body and exhibits a rather calm, hidden behavior. Due to its intense color development, this morph is one of the coveted special variants in the hobby.

These animals are from our own breeding. Originally, these isopods come from Vietnam. When purchased, the isopods are shipped in mixed age and size stages to ensure an optimal start for a successful breeding colony.

The isopods feed on various forest materials such as decaying wood and leaf litter. In addition, supplementary feeds such as calcium (e.g., limestone or cuttlebone) and proteins should be offered as part of a balanced diet. Various vegetables are also readily accepted. Vegetables from the onion family (garlic, leeks, onions) should be avoided, as well as iceberg lettuce.

A moist but well-ventilated terrarium with a stable humidity gradient (moist and drier areas) is crucial for successful keeping and breeding. Waterlogging should be avoided at all costs.
