The isopods are sold in groups of 10. Cubaris sp. "Panda King Pink" is a rare and very striking color variant of Cubaris sp. Panda King, characterized by a rosy to pinkish shimmering coloration in combination with the typical black and white base pattern. Like the standard form, it has a compact, heavily armored body and exhibits a rather calm, hidden behavior. Due to its special color development, this morph is one of the coveted special variants in the hobby.
These animals are from our own breeding. These isopods originally come from Vietnam. When purchased, the isopods are shipped in mixed age and size groups to ensure an optimal start for a successful breeding colony.
The isopods feed on various forest materials such as rotten wood and leaf litter. Additionally, supplementary feed such as calcium (e.g., limestone or cuttlebone) and proteins should be offered as part of a balanced diet. Various vegetables are also readily accepted. Vegetables from the onion family (garlic, leeks, onions) should be avoided, as should iceberg lettuce.
A moist but well-ventilated terrarium with a stable humidity gradient (moist and drier areas) is crucial for successful keeping and breeding. Waterlogging should be absolutely avoided.
